Dress Policy and Uniforms

GCS Students adhere to a fairly strict uniform code. Regular uniforms must be from Risse Brothers.  Students need the Regular, P.E. as well as  Mandatory uniforms for special days such as picture days.  Cold weather clothing is sold at the school and can be purchased by completing a form found at the Main Office.

Students may pay $3 on some Fridays for Dress Down Day.

We will post our updated uniform policy for the 2021-22 School Year January 2022.  It is not advised to purchase uniforms without viewing this policy first.

Family Involvement and Volunteers

At GCS, Family Involvement is welcomed.  We require families to volunteer a minimum of 6 hours per student and there are a variety of Community Activities, Family Fun and Service where families can participate.  We have Grandparents Day, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad and many more special days where we invite you to be a part of the Grace Christian Community.

All those who volunteer to work with our students at GCS will need to apply in the school office.  Each applicant will need to be fingerprinted and go through an extensive background check.

Each family is asked to serve a minimum of 6 hours per child or pay $120 in lieu of service hours.  It takes a community to make GCS the special place that it is.  You can sign up for many volunteer opportunities at:

Contact Rebecca McKeen if you have any questions at:

Please note, we do require fingerprinting and a background check on any volunteer opportunities working with and around our students.  Volunteer forms and information can be found at the office.
