School Building & Grounds
The property of Grace Community Church and its ministries belongs to the Lord. The church is autonomous in the governing of its affairs and seeks to develop its property as the Lord so directs. It is our belief that our buildings and grounds should glorify the Lord and reflect a commitment to excellence.
Our Private Christian School Campus
GCS is located on a beautiful 22 acre campus in the town of Brandon. Our town is just east of Tampa, Florida and provides a wonderful setting for family life and development.
Our Private School Classrooms
GCS has buildings which were designed by the well-known architect, Mr. James Bruce. The classrooms are spacious, carpeted, air-conditioned, and contain top of the line educational furnishings and modern technology.
Fine Arts & Dining Facility
Our newest addition to Grace Christian School is our Fine Arts Center. It is over 10,300 square feet, and holds the art room, computer technology room, dining hall, and the music/band room.
School Science Lab
We have built an excellent science lab with facilities for experiments and hands-on opportunities for students.
The gym features a sport court for basketball and volleyball, which is a state of the art flooring used for safety and durability. The gym also has locker rooms, coaches offices, and a concession area for all games.
Our School Auditorium
Our auditorium, located inside the gymnasium, is completely air conditioned and used for programs, musicals, orchestra presentations and graduations.
Our Christian School Library
We have a beautiful library with a study area for students and a modern visual aids room for classes and training sessions.
We have a home economics room with stoves, sinks and sewing machines to help our students learn important skills.
Advanced computer technology is what we offer at GCS. Students in first grade through high school are prepared for the computer age with the use of state of the art equipment. Our private school computer department has published its own curriculum which has been adopted by schools around the state.
GCS is under the direction of Grace Community Church which began in 1970. The church is a non-denominational ministry which features youth and teen programs, hospital ministries, visitation and soul winning programs which give its members opportunities for service and sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
